Terms and Conditions
- Whilst every care is taken of the dogs undergoing treatment and in the maintenance of the water and equipment, all dogs receive hydrotherapy treatment entirely at their owners risk.
- All dogs vaccinations must be up to date and the certificate must be shown before the initial swim.
- Dogs will not be treated without veterinary authorisation.
- Dogs with infections or contagious conditions such as ear, eye or skin infections, gastric upset etc. will not be treated. Owners are advised to cancel all appointments with at least 24hrs notice until the condition is clear. Normal cancellation conditions apply.
- Bitches in season will not be allowed to attend sessions until their season has finished.
- Owners are requested not to feed their dogs for at least 3hrs before swimming and for one hour after swimming.
- It is the owners responsibility to clean up after their dogs whilst on the premises and it's surrounding environment. Poop-scoop bags are available on request and a bin is provided.
- Please ensure dogs are clean and not muddy when they arrive for their swim.
- When not undergoing treatment all dogs must be kept under control and be on a lead.
- We reserve the right to refuse treatment to any dog.
- The floor in the pool area can become very wet during swimming sessions - it is advisable to wear sensible shoes to avoid slipping.
- Please ensure dogs have emptied their bowels before swimming. A surcharge of £20 will be made for dogs that defecate in the pool as we will have to close the pool to clean it.
- Owners are required to notify Doggy Paddle if, during a course of treatment the dog's injury or condition worsens or if the veterinary surgeon advises that the treatment is to be stopped or suspended.
- Doggy Paddle cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property, loss or injury to any dog or person whilst on the premises.
- Session fees will be charged in full if an appointment is broken or cancelled without 24hrs notice.
- All treatment sessions, including those to be part of an insurance claim, must be paid for in advance.
